Monarch Studio Café is an Iowa-based values and mission-driven, global, e-commerce, creative community that showcases and sells art of many kinds from an “Artist-first” approach in a manner that’s welcoming, affordable, scalable, iterable, efficient, and accessible because it’s who we are and it’s in our nature.
While we’ve been around since 2020, we’ve rolled up our sleeves and done a ton of hard work to get to where we are today. We’d absolutely love to have you as a special guest to share with us an exciting time and what’s sure to be a memorable moment for all.

James W Hall – Professor of Flue and Director of Woodwinds at the University of Northern Colorado, Burkart Flute Performing Artist, and Co-creator and founder of duo970.
Gary L Hightshoe – Emeritus Professor of Landscape Architecture and visionary of Savanna Studio at Iowa State University, and Author/Illustrator/Photographer of Native Trees, Shrubs, and Vines for Urban and Rural America, North American Plantfile, and NEW books coming January 2026: Tree Huggers for Kids and Rooted: Native Trees of Urban and Rural North America.
